ASDR Challenge 10 - Satisfaction

My Favorite Place

I enjoy going to the lake alot. It's the one place
I seem I be able to relax the most at.
It's so peaceful and calm there.
The only sounds you hear are the water, wind,
and the birds.I like to just sit and enjoy the sounds of nature
that you don't hear when you live in the city.

I take my family to this lake alot to take some pictures,
it makes for some very nice photos if you are into
the scenic things.

You can take a boat out onto the lake during certain
times that they have posted. If I had a boat, I would be
on the water all the time. I just love the nature and the water.
It smells so fresh and clean out at the lake and away from
the city life.

ASDR Challenge 8 - Girl Talk

Wording:
Girl TalkThe person I talk most with on the phone is Kelly.
We talk about scrappin' and our kids.
When I was a teen I used to always be on the phone talking
with all my friends that I hung out with at school.
We would mostly talk about boys or kids we didn't like.
Now that I am past the teen stages my phone conversations have changed.
It's not about boys or kids that I don't like anymore.
Now it's about the daily happenings in our life
or hobbies that we have.
I enjoy talking to Kelly, she always brings a smile to my face
when I'm having a bad day. If I'm not around online,
she's calling to make sure that I'm ok.
So it's not just about "Girl Talk", it's about Girl Friends too.
Thank you Kelly for all the great "Girl Talks"
and for always being a great friend.

ASDR Challenge 7 - From This Day Forward

My partner and I were to swap photos that were on a paper,
and then each of us was to finish the other one's layout.
I did a two page layout because we were supposed to use 10 or more pictures in the layout.

ASDR Challenge # 5 - Journaling

Journaling Reads:

The Things My Mother Passed Down to Me

My Mother always told me to believe in myself. She always believed in the things that I did,
and was always there to support me in any decisions that I made.
My Mother always said that if I was old enough to ask questions, that I was old
enough to know the truth. She told me to always be honest and never lie to myself
or to anyone else. My Mother would always have an open ear, and I
was always able to go to her with whatever problem I may have had.

I try and live out the things that my Mother has instilled in me each day of my life.
I have taught the same things to my children as well, so that they hold
the same values in life that I was brought up to believe in.

Now that I am a Mother I see the purpose of all the values that my Mother was
teaching me as I was growing up.

The reason I choose to remember this part of my life is that family values are a very
important part of my life. Values that I want my children to carry on
down to their children someday.

My Mother is no longer living, but her values for a family
will live on through me, and through my children.
Even through the ordeal of dying, my Mother remained a strong woman
who knew what she wanted for her and her family.
She was prepared for what was to come and she was preparing
her family as well, so that the pain of her death wouldn't
have to be faced alone.

Thank you Mom for all you have taught our family.

Wording on my letter to my son:

Goals
The goals that I have planned out for you are
to see you finish school and to go onto college
someday.I know that you have special needs, but that doesn't
mean you can't achieve the same goals I have planned for you.
I have faith in you, and I know how strong willed you are.
You have faced many challenges in your school years and have
remained strong and held your head up high.
If there's anyone that I would admire the most, that would
have to be you. There are times that some others just stare because
have certain ticks from your tourette's, and you
just smile at them and go on.
The love you have in your heart is amazing, and someday I hope
that you will find the perfect woman that deserves that kind
of love that I know you can give.
This is how I know that the goals that I have plannedfor you
isn't too far out of reach for you.
Just keep your head held up high my son, just as you have always done,
and you will achieve those goals without a doubt in my heart.
I love you,
Mom
